The verdict

In the words of my son these are comfortable, and stick to the ground really well so that there is no risk of them slipping. Within a few minutes of wearing them they were getting a good work out climbing trees, and playing footballs.

From my point of view, they support his feet, are well made, will last, and on top of that are sturdy, secure, waterproof, and smart, just about everything I want from shoes for my kids.

The KEEN Targhee Waterproof Hiking Shoes work beautifully for both parents and children, with the elasticated laces, easy closing and lace capture system they are fuss free to put on, which makes a huge difference when it comes to getting kids out of the door, it also means no wet laces and nothing to trip over!

They are smart enough to wear out for lunch and then stand up to the toughest trials of climbing and puddle stomping and come out looking almost brand new.

I am so pleased that we got to review these, they will be added to my shopping list for my children as they are such a great hit with both me and my kids.
