Wearing trainers has never been more popular and having stopped wearing anything that doesn’t provide comfort several years ago, when I’m not in hiking boots or wellies, you can bet I’m in trainers.

Keen KS86 urban sneaker review

Whether I’m going out out, popping to the shops or grabbing a lunchtime coffee, it’s trainers I’m wearing and I love footwear that works effortlessly with pretty much anything I’m wearing, and matches my usual colourful vibe.

My everyday bag is the exact same colour as these trainers and I have heaps of accessories and tops in a similar colour too, making these a great addition to my wardrobe. I’m aware of the current trend is for a certain brand of trainers which frankly, I’ve never been a fan of, but the styling of the KS86 does feel somewhat similar to the New Balance 327. Personally, I much prefer the colours and overall look of the Keen KS86 and have even received a compliment from a stranger, who told me she loved them and asked for more info.

Comfort with Keen shoes is never an issue, and it’s why I trust the brand implicitly to deliver. Sizing wise again, the brand is usually spot on, however, for the first time, I actually find the size of the KS86 to be a little on the larger size.

I’m a UK6 and I feel like these fit a little more like a 6.5, so whilst that means absolutely no squished toes, it does mean that I need to remember to wear these trainers with chunky socks.

For a no-drama trainer that pairs brilliantly with everything from jeans to dresses, whilst providing high levels of comfort, the KS86 clearly understood the assignment. I absolutely love wearing them, so it’s a big thumbs up from me.
