What we thought

Lantern hanging points inside tents are ideal for hanging your chosen light source, as positioned higher up, the light generally spreads to cover a greater area. The downside however, is that if you want to do a bit of reading in bed before you fall asleep and you don’t have a head torch, you usually end up having to get out of your cosy sleeping bag to turn the lantern off before you fall alseep.

I absolutely loved the remote control that comes with the LUXX and found it extremely useful. The light itself is very lightweight which makes it great for those who need their camping gear to be as compact and portable as possible.

The feature I love the most, however, has to be the fact that you can choose from 7 different colour modes, or let it cycle through a variety of different colours which helped to create a lovely ambiance inside my tent.

The light has an attached carabiner so it’s easy to clip it to pretty much anywhere inside the tent, even if your tent has no dedicated lantern hanging point, it can easily attach to a door zip for example.

I’ve used the light on every camping trip I’ve been on since campsites reopened after lockdown (4 camping trips so far) and I’ve still not needed to recharge it, though before my next trip, just to be on the safe side, I’ll charge it at home first, though if you have a USB power bank or a device like the PowaPacs ION, you can charge it whilst out and about too.

Different colour light options including red and pink to attract less bugs when used outdoors
Long working time from one charge
Waterproof which means it’s really practical and no need to worry about it getting wet

This little LED light is now a staple part of our camping kit and is particularly useful for lightweight camping trips when I don’t want to take too much stuff with me. It takes up a small amount of space, is very light and lasts for hours on a single USB charge.

I also really love the remote control which makes this little LED light super versatile and a highly practical piece of camping kit.

I particularly love that I can change the colour of the light – I am quite sensitive to lighting and my home is full of mood lighting, so it’s really lovely to be able to choose different colours that change the vibe inside my tent and make it feel really cosy.
