We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that voted for us in the Go Outdoor blog awards….we’ve just found out that we’ve only gone and made the final judges shortlist! Voting is now closed and the final decision is with the Go Outdoors judges, and the winner will be notified on 12th January. What a way to kick off the new year eh? We’ve got our fingers crossed!
What’s Camping with Style all about?
For the past 2 years we have been publishing an average of 3 blog articles every single week. All of that content, photography and editing takes time, not to mention traveling most weekends to wonderful new places in order to write about them. The average blog post takes us around 3 hours to write, but many of our bigger blog articles can take 7 or more hours from start to finish. The team love what we do, but it’s more hard work than many people realise on top of demanding full time day jobs and family commitments.
Writing To Promote The Benefits Of An Active, Outdoorsy Lifestyle
Awards aren’t the be all and end all, sure, and that’s not why we do what we do, but we’d love to encourage even more people to spend more time in the great outdoors, and an award is the ideal way to raise awareness of Camping with Style.

Shell loves all things travel and outdoors and is a nature-loving, comfy-camping kinda girl. Shell started the Camping with Style blog after a serious snowboarding accident which left her with a broken back. Despite this she used the outdoors and healing power of nature to aid her recovery and she continues to spend time outdoors whenever she can.
From open water swimming, snowboarding and kayaking to hill walks and meditation, Shell shares her travels and microadventures here on the blog and in various publications she's written for, Shell has a particular interest in promoting wellbeing and the many benefits of nature therapy.
