The focus here is on simple meals that anyone can prepare using fewer, high-quality ingredients to maximise on flavour.

Here at Camping with Style we love cooking from scratch whilst camping, but I must admit, there are a few meals in very heavy rotation that tend to be my go-to, and I found Fire to Fork hugely inspiring.

As well as some great ideas there’s also some really helpful practical information… like what the hell to do with a whole crab for example.

Kentucky Fried Parmi on page 124 looks ridiculously tasty, the Fire to Fritters topped with smoked salmon on page 63 will definitely be making it into my regular rotation and the flatbread recipe looks fab too. Give me fresh bread of any kind, some good quality olive oil, and aged balsamic vinegar and I couldn’t be happier.
