Robens award-winning sleeping bags sees the introduction of two game-changing insulation fills that enhance performance so you can fully rest and recharge ready for the next day’s adventure.

The key new insulation fill is MicroThermo Ball that closely mimics down. It comprises lightweight polyester clusters constructed to deliver down-like compression and loft.

Like down, it quickly traps large volumes of air for enhanced insulation and comfort while ensuring a compact packed size. It differs from down by providing efficient moisture management that ensures performance is maintained in damp conditions. It is perfect for those who would benefit from a down sleeping bag but where conditions, ethics, allergies and price tags rule it out.

Thermo Hybrid Down combines the support and efficient moisture management of MicroThermo Ball with down’s low weight, superior compression and excellent loft. It offers an exceptionally soft, high performance insulation for those activities that require lightweight, compact equipment suitable for demanding conditions.

Thermo Hybrid Down and MicroThermo Ball are used in two new sleeping bag ranges.

Robens Gully Sleeping Bags

Four new different fill weights of PFC-free Robens Gully sleeping bags offer all the benefits of down and synthetic fills in a small pack size. Providing home-like comfort, ThermoHybrid Down is used for the upper insulation and MicroThermo Ball at base, foot and head for enhanced insulation and quick-dry properties in areas that might get damp.

The wide comfort mummy cut with shark fin foot box construction allows freedom of movement while the brushed lining material offers high moisture transfer for comfort. Draughts and heat loss are minimised by the redefined neck baffle position and profile − all drawcords are differentiated by thickness and structure for easy adjustment by touch.

Left- or right-hand YKK two-way zip options with auto-lock are offered and all have anti-snag zip guard with full-length insulated zip baffle. Features include pillow pocket in the hood, two mesh pockets, hanger loops and compression stuff sack.

Robens Icefall Pro Sleeping Bag

The three weights in the new PFC-free Robens Icefall Pro sleeping bags use MicroThermo Ball in a box wall construction for enhanced insulation throughout, with the brushed lining material offering high moisture transfer for comfort.

The design provides 3D hood and body contour profiles, plus a shark fin foot box with extra insulation, to optimise warmth to weight ratio. Heat loss is further minimised by redefined neck baffles, double sided zip baffle and a one-hand adjustable elastic high-waist drawcord that keeps the sleeping bag in place when sitting up. Easy adjustment is maintained by through one-hand draw cords located to one side.

The quality YKK centre zip with auto lock is perfect for use in small tents, hammocks and bushcraft situations. Features include hanger loops, mesh storage sack and compression stuff sack. A Quilt option provides additional warmth when needed and is especially welcome when sitting out in evening temperatures.
