Originally developed in conjunction with Oxfam, the high-capacity LifeSaver Cube provides clean water on demand for drinking, cooking, washing and tooth-brushing. Its advanced filter technology removes a minimum of 99.99% of bacteria, cysts and, most importantly, dangerous viruses from any water, be it a dodgy looking tap or nearby pond.
Weighing just 1.2kg, its lightweight yet durable construction can store 5 litres of water which is pumped through the integrated ultra-filtration membrane to remove contaminants. There’s no need for additional chemicals or a power supply, and the filter treats an incredible 5,000 litres of water before it needs replacing. The integrated tap makes it easy to adjust the amount of treated water being released from the Cube and its fast flow-rate of 1.25 litres per minute means no waiting around.
The Cube’s square shape packs neatly into a car and its large handle ensures it is easy to carry around camp, even when full. Performance is enhanced by an Activated Carbon Filter that removes any remaining tastes or smells from the treated water before you use it. For ultimate peace of mind, the filter features LifeSaver’s FailSafe technology so it won’t let untreated water through the filter, eliminating any guess work and the risk of accidentally drinking unclean water.
