Final tips for using an electric heater in your tent
- Always use a proper, outdoor-rated EHU cable with a built-in RCD (Residual Current Device) – never use an indoor extension lead.
- Keep your heater on a flat, stable surface well away from tent fabric, sleeping bags and any other flammable materials. The general rule is a minimum of one metre clearance on all sides.
