NEWS | Bert’s Kitchen Garden Campsite – Luxury Eco Campsite on the Llyn Peninsula, New For 2019
Nestled at the foot of Yr Eifl in a little village called Trefor, Bert’s Kitchen Garden Campsite offers tranquil family camping. Enjoy getting back to nature with communal campfires, feast nights, fab walks, a kids playground, yummy veg from the site’s kitchen garden and more.
Opening June 2019 Bert’s has been lovingly created in the grounds of a 350 year old farmhouse by a husband and wife team and their three kids. Ian and Ali share a passion for creating a space where kids can explore and run free, where parents can relax and friends and family can come together and enjoy good local food and the great outdoors.
The wild meadow field has 10 grass pitches all with mountain views or you can opt to stay in the Mongolian yurt, a luxurious bell tent or even the converted school bus “Bert”.
Price at £ 26 per night for a pitch for 2, site facilities include free hot showers, luxury composting toilets, barbecues, spare wellies for guests and a shop on site. Feast nights run every Saturday during the summer season.
Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available all day. Fresh croissants and afternoon cakes are available from the pop up cafe. There is even a little art gallery in a converted shipping container.
