Somerset Fire Pits have designed their products to comply with usual campsite rules, which often stipulate that open fires must be raised off the ground, making them perfect for camping.
As well as warming you up at the campsite in the evening, you can also use it back at home in the garden, to ward of the chill as night falls, and we’ve got one, complete with carry bag to give away.

Game of cards, some marshmallows, a good local tipple and great company. This is how we spend our evenings camping in the summer as a family. It just puts the world on pause, and it’s time we don’t usually get to spend together, as we are all so busy. ?
We are completely irresponsible and relax around the campfire with A LOT of alcohol!

We incorporate our fire piit into everything, eg. Halloween, we all dressed up had a few drinks by the fire, a bite to eat, gave the local kids sweets for their trick or treating, Christmas, we cooked chestnuts on the fire, heated up mulled wine, had nibbles & drinks. New Year, we stood around the fire, had a firework display and brought in 2016 with friends and neighbours.

wow never had a camp fire before bonfire yes, use to have baked potatoes in bacofoil round the edges and marshmallows on long sticks very very happy memories of this at our granny and granddads , really fabulous looking prize indeed

Before children it was with my uni friends playing I have never! Now with our children and our friends it is about toasting marshmallow and telling stories before they go to bed. There’s no better way of having fun than sitting around the fire with your friends and family while roasting marshmallows (and everything else that can be melted and roasted :)). My little ones love it!

we always go camping as a large group of family and friends. we love to sit around a firepit in the evenings where the adults relax with a bottle of wine and the kids get to roast marshmallows.

After a good day whitewater kayaking, with my friends and family. We have a transit van which we have semi converted and we’ve just started staying out again after a long winter but our last trip was a bit on the chilly side and we invaded the campsite pizza oven hut (after it had just closed up) and tried to warm around the embers of that until we got told off. A firepit would have meant we could have stayed out without feeling like naughty school children 🙂

We like to relax around a camp fire enjoying good food and of course a glass of wine, talking about the days events, and where to go next, our experience of camping is you make some really good friends and together we all enjoy sitting around a fire and all have stories about our camping antics, all good fun, there is nothing like it.
