CAMPING | Camping Achievement Badges – Which Ones Would You Get?
Which of these camping achievements can you proudly (or not so proudly!) claim to have? Take a look at our camping achievement badges below and figure out what kind of camper your are.

1. Battler of the elements
You’ve camped on more than one occasion in a gale, snow, high winds and/or torrential downpours…and you still come back for more.

2. Make do and mender
Something breaks in your tent. No drama, you fix it, probably with gaffer tape.

3. Camping newbie
You battled to put up the brand new tent, forgot to pack extra layers for bedtime, and didn’t peg out the guy ropes. Oh dear.

4. All the gear and no idea
That fancy new tent seemed like a great idea, but when you got to the campsite it took you over an hour to put the damn thing up.

5. Pro camper
You’re the Macgyver of the camping world and can cope with anything that comes your way. You know every trick in the book and have added a few of your own.

6. The Friendly camper
You’ve helped out other campers in need by lending them a mallet or a helping hand to get their tent up.

7. The failed camper
You’ve had a disaster that rendered your camping trip a write off, forcing an early return home.

8. The optimistic camper
You never let the weather forecast put you off; you simply pack for all eventualities and go anyway!

9. The hip glamper
You own far too many fairy lights and rugs that are kept exclusively for camping…and you probably, no definitely, own a bell tent.

10. The ultimate glamper
You’ve got a wood burning stove for your bell tent and sheep skin rugs on the floor. You glamorous thing you.

11. The girly camper
If it’s a tent or camping accessory that comes in pink or in a floral pattern, you can bet your life you’ll buy it.

12. The gear nut
Every season you drool over new tent specifications, you’ve ‘upgraded’ camping gear when it wasn’t entirely necessary, and you have a gadget for everything.

13. Wilderness wanderer
You seek solitude so you’re happy to camp wild and forage free. You know your stink horns from your death caps, and like to pitch up as far away from everyone else as possible.

14. Camp cook
With a little preparation, on nothing more than a single burner stove you can rustle up a top quality ‘from scratch’ meal – there’s no ration packs or pot noodles in sight here!

15. The entertainer
Your guitar is always the first thing you pack for a camping trip, and you’re the first to get a song going around the campfire.

How many camper achievement badges do you get? We’ve can admit to 11…what about you?

LOVE this post! I think I’ve managed to earn nearly all of these badges at one point or another. I’m too stubborn to give up and return home from a trip early, though, so I guess I haven’t fully earned my “Failure” badge. Thanks for this great post!
Thanks Amy, glad to hear you liked it! 😀 lol Stubborn is definitely a good quality to have as a camper. I earned that badge after camping in 24 hours of torrential rain, my old Vango tent was really struggling and I went to be praying it would hold up through the night. The rain continued and I woke up literally soaking wet, and my bag and gear on the floor was sat in huge pools of water – I had no choice but to admit defeat and to go and buy the new tent I’d been putting off buying! 😀
Think I’ve got 11 of these, I can even claim the girly camper after buy the bell tent 🙂
