What we thought
I got to try a couple of travel towels recently, and they are great, so I’m going to tell you about them. They’re called PackTowl and they come in a whole heap of different sizes and colours; great for people like me who are obsessed about color co-ordinating everything.
I go to the gym most weekday mornings, which means towels are kind of a big issue for me. I take a fresh towel every day, so travel towels which are compact and quick drying are super useful.
Whenever we go camping, the absurd amount of gear that we take with us means space is always at a premium, so we always opt for space saving travel towels when camping too. PackTowls feel soft and are clever little things; able to absorb a whopping 4 times their own weight in water, and once sopping wet, can be wrung out and reused.
There are currently 5 different sizes and bright funky colour options to choose from, as well as bath robes, and a doggy version that’s coming soon. I tried out the L size (pictured in berry), which is the ideal size to wrap around a small waist. I also tried out the XL size (pictured in citrus), which is comparable in size to a bath towel, which easily wrapped around my chest, and hid my modesty at the gym.
Our verdict
They do a grand job of getting a body dry quickly and take up barely any room in your gym bag or backpack. Versatile, compact and lovely to use, PackTowl definitely get’s our badge of approval.
