Wild Country is launching a new range of family air tents and campervan awning, the Zonda range. Designed in Derbyshire, backed up by Terra Nova and Wild Country expertise and with the thumbs up from leading retailers, they are confident these easily pitched and packed new tents will appeal to family camper, and the 8 person Zonda 8EP, has already received a commended award from Camping Magazine!

The range consists of the Zonda 8EP (extended porched), 6EP, 4EP (8, 6 and 4 person models) and a driveway awning suitable for T5 and T6 style camper vans.

Wild Country Zonda 6 EP Tent

The Zonda 6EP is ideal for weekends away or longer family holidays and has all the features and benefits you would expect from a Wild Country tent. The Air Flex poles (which come with a 10-year guarantee) combined with a rectangular floor plan make pitching swift and simple plus the innovative oversize tarp style tent bag makes packing away a breeze.

The main groundsheet is fully sewn in to keep drafts and bugs away and adjustable air vents with insect-proof mesh panels are provided for comfort in warmer weather. To further aid your comfort the large tinted windows have adjustable privacy curtains and the bedroom area, which is made from a carefully selected black fabric, is divided into three compartments by way of removable partitions. The extended porch (EP) has a detachable bathtub style groundsheet providing maximum versatility whatever the weather.

For your lighting and gadgets, you’ll find twin electrical hook up access points on both sides of the tent which mean you don’t need to worry about where you pitch in relation to the hookup point at the campsite.

The 12cm large-diameter Air Flex inflatable poles provide excellent stability and are easily inflated with the supplied slim-line double action hand pump that has a built-in pressure gauge. A comprehensive repair kit and inflation valve tool are included for convenience.

The red webbing end guy lines are not only easy to see but aid pitching and are secured with substantial V style steel tent pegs. The reflective side guy lines are both quiet in use and provide effective security in blustery conditions.

Should the weather be a little less than kind rest assured the tent will keep you dry. The flysheet is made of a robust 150 Denier Ripstop Polyester fire retardant fabric which is factory seam taped and waterproof tested to 6000mm Hydrostatic Head. In addition, the tent conforms to BS/EN/ISO standard 5912 and a carpet and footprint are available.

Wild Country Zonda 8 EP Tent

The Zonda 8 EP has all the great features of the 6EP but it’s bigger and it’s been commended in the Camping Magazine 2020 Tent Awards! This tent is suitable for up to eight people and it provides a large, spacious living area.

Whether you plan on taking a long weekend break or an extended family holiday the Zonda 8EP famil tent makes a great choice. For such a large tent it is straightforward to pitch and also easy to pack thanks to the oversize tarp style bag. Once folded simply roll the tent into the bag, tighten the compression straps, pull the drawstrings and you are done.

Wild Country Zonda 4 EP Tent

Perfect for smaller families or couples the Zonda 4 EP has all the great features of the other models in a more compact version. The smaller dimensions allow the use of 10cm Diameter Air Flex poles that contribute to a smaller packed size making the Zonda 4 EP ideal for weekend getaways not just longer holidays.

For those with a camper van the Zonda Drive Away is the ideal awning. At 18.6kg the Zonda Drive Away packs easily into your van and is simply inflated and pitched.
