The famous Flip flops are back, and better than ever. From two orphaned young brothers and a pair of flip flops, an empire grew.
It’s been nearly two years since Gandys has sold flip flops, and after popular demand the brand is excited to announce 5 new styles. To many, Gandys are known for their flip flops, and they embody Rob and Paul’s path of perseverance and success.
After experiencing the loss of their parents in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami in Sri Lanka, Rob and Paul wished to continue on their parents’ legacy by building a brand that gives back to underprivileged children. From designing a pair of flip flops in their Croydon bedroom, to now selling a vast range of travel gear the brand has gained wide recognition from celebrities to the Royals.
Iconically, Rob and Paul visited Buckingham Palace in a pair of flip flops when being awarded Young Leaders for the Queen. Gandys has built kids campuses in 5 different countries and are constantly striving to expand the Gandy’s foundation.
The new flip flop range is even more sustainable. The flip flops are created with 100% natural rubber and 20% recycled EVA. Further, as each purchase goes towards building a kids campus, it is no wonder the flip flops are so highly anticipated.
