Looking past our cooped-up days there’s a whole lot of freedom and gentle adventures waiting in the Cornish countryside. Cornish Tipi Holidays have got 20 spacious acres of hidden valley & woodland just inland from Port Isaac & close to Polzeath, Rock & Boscastle. Whether wild camping or glamping in one of our tipis, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors after weeks of having to stay at home!

When UK travel resumes, families, couples and friends can finally leave home and connect with each other in the open air, sit around the campfire, float in a magical freshwater lake or sunbathe on meadow grass – with loads of space to follow the rules if social distancing is needed.

Win a weekend break

Every camper that books after lockdown lifts and comes to us this summer will get the chance to enter a draw for a free weekend’s camping next year – because everyone’s going to need an extra break!

Although your fully equipped tipi or tent pitch is only 5 mins from the some of the most spectacular coastline & beaches in Europe – you don’t really have to leave our site once you’re here…

Just kick back & soak up the birdsong in the woods, or let kids run free in the meadow, barefoot in the daisies (they can pick them too & proudly plonk them in a jar).

If you fancy something a little more taxing then it’s down to the lake to teach the family how to row a boat and catch a fish (catch your own rainbow trout and cook it outside for supper – living the dream) Or just go for an amazing swim with swallows dipping the water and buzzards circling high above.

If you want some proper instruction then look no further than Cornish Rocktors, experts in stand up paddleboarding, coasteering and kayaking who will come to our lake to lead an activity session especially for your family or group. Their HQ is only 5 mins away at Port Gaverne so you can also get in some first-rate ocean experience while you’re here.

If a nice cold beer and wood-fired pizza sounds good in the evening coupled with an awesome breakfast and really great coffee in the mornings (& hot choc for the children of course) then it’s up to the Gastropod Café. After all that fresh air top it off stargazing beside the campfire – as long as you can stay awake!
